Apogee launches website for the XVI Symposium on Pesticide Chemistry
11 February, 2019

Continuing its cooperation with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Apogee Information Systems re-designed and developed the website of XVI SYMPOSIUM ON PESTICIDE CHEMISTRY. The website presents all the details concerning the event that will take place in Piacenza this September. This is the second time Apogee cooperates with the university on this project, having developed the site for the previous symposium as well in 2015. WordPress was selected the CMS to use in this case for a quick and straightfoward result.

The Symposium represents one of the most important scientific events on pesticides worldwide, it takes place every two years and is hosted on rotation between Università Cattolica and the University of York (Chaired by prof. Colin Brown). The first edition of the Symposium in Pesticide Chemistry was organized by Attilio del Re and Paolo Fontana in 1979, both professors at the Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Since then it has grown constantly and has reached today recognition at a top international level, thanks to the cooperation of Allan Walker (UK).
