Under a new partnership agreement, Apogee Information Systems will remain one of the main technical supporters of the Keep.eu platform for the year 2022, after a year of successful collaboration. In 2021, Apogee was selected to undertake a project by Interact, one of the European Union's key regional development agencies. Following a successful bid, Apogee engaged in assisting the archiving and logging services for the Keep.eu project database.
Keep.eu serves all professional audiences needing aggregated data regarding projects and beneficiaries of European Union cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation programmes among the member States and between Member States and neighbouring or pre-accession countries. The Interact Programme has built this database and maintains it as part of its mission, with the remaining Interreg programmes and the European Commission's support. The database covers the 2000-2006, 2007-2013 and 2014-2020 periods and currently is adding data on the 2021-2027 period.
Keep.eu focuses on a specific group of programmes, projects and partners. All of these programmes and projects share the fact that they are fully or partially funded by the European Union and/or its Member States, and all of them involve participants (partners) from at least two different countries. The platform provides two decades of extensive data on projects, programs, and territorial cooperation partners across Europe, and it adds even more every minute. Specifically, Keep.eu has managed to archive over 86% of all projects, 82% of all partnerships and 97% of all programs.
Once again, Interact entrusted Apogee Information Systems to support the Keep.eu platform. The support entails collecting and importing data from the programmes involved via manual submission, data retrieval from the programmes’ websites or automatic import. Data quality is guaranteed through clear and transparent procedures applied to the collection, processing and publishing of data.
For the programming period of 2014-2020, the number of projects and partnerships is now provided in the Keep.eu platform has reached 8.510 and overpassed 40.000, respectively. Apogee, a leading technology firm specialising in today's emerging business sectors and latest technologies, offered top quality service by taking over the documentation of some of the platform’s biggest Programmes, cataloguing and archiving over 5,500 documents from over 1250 projects.
After this success, Apogee is delighted to continue its mission of supporting EU agencies and institutions again, offering its services and expertise to evolve and continue Interact’s vision.
