Apogee provides design training for the Interreg community

Apogee Information Systems has offered design training to the Interreg community in order to provide participants with a clear overview of the successful creation and maintenance of an Interreg programme’s web presence.

The results and activities of Interreg, also known as the European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) objective of Cohesion Policy 2014-2020, are made visible by Interact, which ensures the exchange of experience, information and innovation in order to promote best practice and make cooperation easier. These two programmes jointly tackle common challenges and find shared solutions in fields such as health, environment, research, education, transport, sustainable energy and more.

The Interact Programme built its database and maintains it with the remaining Interreg programmes, and with the support of the European Commission. The project’s principal tasks are the identification, upload, proper classification, labelling and, lastly, the verification of uploaded documents in the Keep.eu platform. Main requirements for the execution of these tasks are well precise specifications and procedures, the apprehension of the processes and context in which Keep.eu operates (and its goals), and a familiarity with the Interreg programmes and their audience. 

Apogee Information Systems, provided the appropriate documentation and training for the Interreg Team, fully equipping and coaching them for the independent management of the System. 

The entirety of the training period was used to its fullest; using appropriate methodologies and a structured presentation, the participants were introduced to the design approach and principles. Τhey gained a very good understanding of the approaches that they need to take, in order to build and maintain a successful and user-centric web presence.

The technologies and software used for the training were interactive and easy-to-use for non-expert users, accompanied with a range of tutorials and instructions. Apogee’s consultants presented the full elements and their functionalities, providing step-by-step instructions, advice, tips and Do’s and Don’ts on their usage. Through a sequenced lecture, discussion and learning activities, the participants gained insights that will assist them in practical and applicable ways. 

Last but not least, the period of scheduled training ensured that the staff has understood and is able to act alone on the administrative work needed. Apogee provided an one-month support period after the training, leaving the material available for studying and answering any question.
