Since 2002, Apogee Information Systems has been the go-to partner for creative solutions and innovation in all types of web applications. Today, our in-house team is proud to unveil a fully unified brand refresh that goes beyond our logo, introducing a streamlined wordmark and a single, code-inspired typeface across every touchpoint.
Our new primary logo is a pure wordmark: APOGEE in our signature vibrant orange paired with INFORMATION SYSTEMS in charcoal black. By deemphasising the old emblem from the main logo, we let our name stand front and centre. It is an unmistakable stamp of our expertise. The updated logo will be used in all applications, audiences and markets, unifying our previous branding.
Our new central choice for headlines, paragraphs, links, and even our wordmark is now Victor Mono by Rune Bjørnerås, a monospaced family born in the coding world, providing perfect consistency from titles to body text without the need to juggle multiple typefaces. Its monospaced rhythms and open counters ensure easy readability and rock‑solid alignment, while hierarchy is achieved through weight and style.
We supplement and balance the main font with Gorton Perfected by Inga Plönnings and Marcin Wichary. This secondary font is used both in the logo and sparingly in decorative UI elements. GP is a modern version of a late 19th-century machining font, expressing our love for accuracy and consistency in everything we develop.
With one logo variant and a unified typographic system, we have started applying our updated visual language in all our communication over the past few months. Some clients have already seen it in offers and technical reports. Today, this takes effect on our website. True to our agile methods, this does not include a complete re-design but rather a top-level refresh, with more to come.
This change is more than a new coat of paint. It is a declaration of our focus on precision, clarity, and the modern, code-centric solutions we deliver every day. Explore our updated site at www.apogee.gr.
